Hey, Kids, What's Up?

Sometimes, life takes unexpected turns.  Sometimes, changes come in like a storm tide and when they roll out your life is completely different.  House, Business, Job, Car, Family, Friends all gone.  You find yourself adrift with a few pieces of your old life floating in the vast, chaotic ocean around you.  And if you can find some sort of bearings in the rolling seas, you start swiming in a direction and hope like hell, there's dry land that way.  And if you can make it to land, you start all over again...finding a new place to live in a new state, finding a new job, new relationships, maybe a litte hope that all is not lost.  That's what I've had to do.  A little fourteen months since my life blew up, and now I've got my own apartment with my girlfriend, a car that's new for me, a decent job (but no where near as good or well paying as the one I had)that I've been at for a year now.  I lost my sister to suicide a few months ago.  That still stings pretty bad.   But, finally, it seems like the punches have stopped now.  So, now, I'm back here to the blog.  I'm writing a new novel, trying to be creative and find my mojo once again.  I'll post a short sample of the opening here soon.  It's fun.  Anyway, welcome back, I guess.  We'll see how things go.  But, if you are kind enough to watch this space, I'll try and make it worth your while.  Talk to you soon....
